Kyle Simmons
Founder Valor PGH / Co-Founder PGH Renovations, Head Insurance Broker and Realtor
Kyle has been in the insurance industry since 2012 and is the founder of Valor PGH, a branch of Valor that brings together insurance and real estate services under one roof. As an independent broker, he specializes in commercial insurance and enjoys working closely with business owners to properly insure and protect everything they've worked so hard to build. In addition to leading the agency, Kyle is a licensed realtor and actively involved in a renovation and property investment business. Through his relationships and insurance clientele, he has built an incredible network of trusted contractors that plays a key role in his real estate investments. He takes pride in being able to give back to many of his clients by supporting their businesses and serving as a strong referral source across a wide variety of industries. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Si, and their daughters, Sophia and Stella. Whether it's bike rides, evening walks, beach trips, or their annual visits to Brazil to see family, time together is what matters most. A lifelong sports fan, he enjoys golfing and a relaxing Sunday watching football. Kyle is passionate about the freedom and challenges that come with being a business owner and takes pride in building a positive, flexible environment where his team can thrive and enjoy their work.

Zach Kay
Co-Founder of PGH Renovations, Realtor
As a licensed Realtor and co-owner of PGH Renovations LLC, Zach brings over five years of dedicated real estate experience to every client he serves. Right out of college, he began investing in properties and has since built more than a million dollars in equity for himself and his clients. His specialty lies in helping buyers maximize their dollar by transforming a new house into their true dream home. As an active owner of a remodeling company, Zach spots details during property walk-throughs that many agents overlook, whether it's remodeling estimates, structural considerations, renovation potential, or hidden opportunities to add value. When he's not immersed in real estate, you'll find him making the most of life in Pittsburgh with his girlfriend Mandy. They love wake boarding and surfing on the Allegheny, heading out on ski trips, and exploring the outdoors with their dogs Aspen and Phoebe. Long camping adventures and off-leash walks are some of their favorite ways to recharge.

CJ, also known as "the little guy," has been in the insurance industry for two years and has quickly developed a passion for helping clients find the right coverage. He is also a licensed real estate agent, giving him a well-rounded perspective when working with clients on both insurance and property needs. Outside of work, CJ enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports. He's a big fan of the movie Scream and never turns down a great steak. Phil Behr
Insurance Broker
Originally from the North Side of Pittsburgh, Phil went to Central Catholic in Pittsburgh as a high school student and then attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate degree. He met his late wife Kimberly at IUP. Phil resides in the South Hills with his two children. Phil enjoys time with his kids, fishing, shooting and driving his 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T as much as he possibly can. Phil started his career at Enterprise rent a car and then moved into Insurance as an agency owner for 10 years. He left the ownership role in 2023 and the large corporate entity for Valor, a faith based and family oriented brokerage dedicated to helping clients reach their goals using industry leading insurance carriers. Phil is licensed in PA and OH for Property and Casualty insurance as well as Life, Accident and Health. He is also licensed to sell Medicare policies in PA, and is a licensed mortgage originator. Phil played the big four sports but realized he wasn't as good at the others as he was at Ice Hockey and played for many years. He owned Penguins season tickets for years but gave them up last year. Currently Phil has been boxing for 2 years and has had a couple matches and loves the competition and fitness that boxing provides. Phil's late wife Kimberly, who passed away from a four-year battle with metastatic colorectal cancer, and he were very involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Their son was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at 8 months old, and had a bone marrow transplant by his first birthday. He hopes to continue to be one of the top Light the Night Walk fundraising teams in memory of Kimberly his late wife.

With eighteen years of experience in the mental health field, Andrea brings a strong foundation of empathy, communication, and client-centered support to her role as a newly licensed insurance agent with the Valor PGH team. In addition to assisting clients with their insurance needs, she also serves as a general service representative and provides essential office support, helping ensure smooth daily operations. Her background has equipped her with the skills to build trust, understand individual needs, and deliver reliable service in every interaction. Outside of work, Andrea is a proud boy mom of three and spends much of her time as their dedicated chauffeur. They love biking and being outdoors as a family, especially when they can enjoy it with their dog, Macho.
